Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Strive LeadGen LLC ("we", "us") handles information on hotwaterquote.com (the "Site"). Hot Water Quote is an information and referral service. We are not a plumbing company.
Information we collect
What you give us. If you request a quote we collect the service you need, your ZIP code, timing, whether you own the home, your name, phone number, email address and anything you write in the notes.
Consent record. When you submit a request we store the time, the page address, the exact consent wording you saw, your IP address, your browser's user agent and an approximate location (country, region and city) derived from your IP address.
Technical information. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the Site, and provides privacy-friendly page-view statistics that do not use cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
How we use it
- To respond to your request and confirm what you need
- To contact you by phone, text or email about your request, as you agreed when you submitted it
- To connect you with one independent licensed plumber, after we have told you who that is
- To keep records of consent and meet our legal obligations
- To protect the Site against fraud and abuse
How we share it
We share your request with one independent licensed plumber only after we have named that business to you and you have said yes. That business pays us for the introduction, and we only refer to businesses that pay us. Sharing your request this way, for payment, may count as a sale of personal information under some state laws; you can tell us not to share it at any time. We do not sell your information to data brokers or lead lists, and we do not send one request to several companies. We also share information with service providers who help us run the Site and our business (hosting, CRM, phone, text and email providers) under obligations to use it only for us, and where the law requires it.
Text messages and calls
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all other sharing described in this policy, except with the providers that deliver the messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also opt out of calls, texts or email at any time by any reasonable means, including by emailing us. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
Retention
We keep request and consent records for as long as needed to handle your request and for a period afterward to resolve disputes and meet record-keeping obligations, then delete or de-identify them.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you gave us, or to stop contacting you, by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 45 days. If a state privacy law gives you more rights, we honor them as that law requires.
Children
The Site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We post changes on this page and update the date above.
